I think you need 2500 Hrs, some of which must be on Jets.

Are there any current employes who can advise me on life at Virgin for a new First Officer, rosters, payscale, time away and time between trips etc.

 Thanks in anticipation

Try these be going along with. They should cover most of what you need to know:

Virgin Questions

Virgin Hold Pool

BA vs Virgin

Virgin Atlantic Recruiting

Terrific resource, that Search facility! :p

And, for qualifications, try:

Virgin Atlantic Pilot Recruitment

Is that enough?

PS, PA28R, this is not a mobile phone. Text speak, especially in capitals, is extremely irritating and difficult to read. Please try and use something a little more like conventional English if you can.

Scroggs,
The pprune job link says that F.O recruitment minimum is 2500-3000 hrs etc, ' but in reality you need more.'
Do you know what the unofficial minimum figure is for a non-type-rated F.O (who meets the other requirements, eg. jet time)?
Thanks

Seems a bit of a lottery with Virgin, just like everyone else. Been appling now for over 3 years. Now 5000hrs, 4000 jet and a skipper to boot. Not even a sniff of any major, let alone this one.
Would sell all I own to get a shot!!!!

Very good friend of mine has just been accepted by Virgin. 2800 hours total of which 2200 is jet (B757)
