Jazeera Airways???

Has anyone heard about this airline?

They are looking for A320 and B737 pilots on Flightinternational.com but have not been able to find a web site. Privately owned and in the middle east, Kuwait from what I have found..

The airline business isn't connected with the TV station carrying the same name. Apparently in Arabic Al Jazeera means The Island or The (Arabian) Peninsula. Al-Jazeera Airways was founded in May 2004 as a shareholding company with a capital of 10 million dinars (34 million USD), 30 percent of which is owned by a group of core founders (Boodai Group); the rest was offered to the public, with record response. The airline plans to provide low-cost regional flights - 55% cheaper than Kuwait Airways.

I had a contact with a guy there and his attitude towards pilots is horrible... If that is the tone in the outfit later............ NO THANK YOU.

As far as I understand from voices located in the Middle East, the main base will be Abu Dhabi.
A strange advertisement as well, it appears they have not decided on the aeroplane yet and sorting already applications. Neither Airbus nor Boeing rated pilots who apply today will be available later next year for lift off.....
