Emirates and women pilots ?

Assumption being the mother of all screw ups, just thought I'd check: Emirates doesn't take women pilots, does it ?

I don't know for sure but there is a post about that in the mid-east forum that says they don't...

speed freek 28th Sep 2004 12:12

No they don't. Sorry. :( :{

Xeque 28th Sep 2004 12:27

Jordanian do. And I have a feeling that Gulf Air might also.

goaround7 28th Sep 2004 12:51

Thanks guys. Female pilot who wants to know is in Jordan right now.

Xeque, do you happen to know whom to contact there ?

I'm not actually in the business. The reason I knew about Jordanian was that I was listening in one night and heard the exchange between the Jordanian and Bahrain Centre.

Gulf Air, I'm sure they were talking about recruiting ladies a while ago but I can't be certain.

Gulf Air DO recruit female flight deck crew! There was an article in their in flight mag back in May about a French national who recently joined. She went onto the 767 based in AUH.
