OP... I guess wait it out is the best idea in your own case. If you have unpaid leave, looks like you have a job to go back for in the future. Seniority is always important outside of the LCC. Take time and do an online course in safety management or auditing. Always good for the career.
Many, I really mean many of us guys and girls out here in Euro land have over 12,000 total with many on med-big jet types with TRI and more available. We are the ones unlucky enough not to have been employed properly for lets say 4-6 months. Lots of airlines have gone and we are still here !. We are the crew the 'agencies' are after at anytime of the year. When this situation recovers and it will, it always does at some point. Droves of pilots will dive into those spots that take us across borders and through more hotel doors than we could ever need. the Canadians will be looking to get over to Poland and Czech areas as soon as possible with Enter or TVS or LOT.
Take a break, stay home, safe lives etc..

It is a non-dilemma. There are NO jobs. Guys do not talk about contracts in Asia as if they were some kind of “better than nothing” option. There is no option. Those airlines the op is presumably referring to had a LONG queue of applicants before the virus, there is NO decision go take.
Only half a speed-brake
Not to mention for a European with family (both sides of the Wall) most of them were only better than nothing options before the pandemic hit.

If you think there's still a chance you'll be called back I'd wait it out if I were you. I wouldn't go overseas to take up an F/O position, as you may find it much harder, if not impossible to get back to the left seat. Going as a DEC would be a much better idea, although it sounds like that may not be an option for you.
