Any update on this post?

I noticed they claim to accept EASA "or ICAO" on their Q400/EMB first officer positons. How is this possible ?

Hi, they don't apparently use VTS. They just give you a paper book of 36 pages of abstract reasoning questions, and 9 math logical questions. And that's it. It all takes about 30 minutes. And after that is a sim session.

I was invited a month ago but couldn't go because my OPC/LPC was in the way. I already went last year in August and didn't get the job. Nobody but some Hungarians got the job for the Budapest base.

Renewable, unless something changes.

A friend of mine went for the interview of 'non type rated FO' position. They told him that he did very well in the technical and the HR panel however they were going to hire type rated pilots!! They would keep his details in their database just in case. Why call him all the way down to Warsaw if you are going to hire a type rated cadets to begin with?

I was rated and I reckon I did very well. Unfortunately if they can avoid recruiting foreigners they will do. I know two or three locals who were NTR and were hired on the fleet I applied for.
I might still have another shot at it but the MAX grounding have slowed their recruitment on the fleet I am interested in anyway. Maybe not worth the economical effort to get there.
I know their Dash 8 fleet is in need of pilots. If you are Polish or speak Polish even better.

Having fully qualified candidates on file is normal practice in a few countries. Recruitment processes aren't quick so even when every position is already accounted for they will keep calling to have a roster ready. Not saying it's what happened, just that it isn't uncommon.

How hard can it be to give a simple explanation of how you went from your previous "advice" based on a mate's interview:

All in all he said it was an okay experience and good if you want a quick upgrade. Not the dream job but a lot of positives if you don’t plan on staying forever and if you do things will most likely only get better. If living in the CEE is your thing this could be a good option for you. This info is based on one pilots experience so others who went might have completely different take on things.
To your current so-called "advice"... Stop making dumb assumptions and just provide some useful feedback if you want anyone to take you seriously . Did you get rejected in your own interview? Did you get hired and fired within 5 months? Did you have any other kind of negative experience with LOT (obviously )? Until such a time where you might provide some reasons, have fun being the miserable old c*** everyone dreads seeing on their schedule and providing us with good examples of how not to behave in life.
