More the question; is it having any affect? Are the 2 sides talking? If the AMS pilots are being represented by VNV, based in AMS, and the other party is management in LTN, a casual meeting for tea & biscuits or pop down for a pint and some common sense seems unlikely. Shame. We've heard about some sniffy contracts at other ez bases. I wonder what this action at AMS might have on their thoughts and negotiation strategies. Wait & see most likely. But to see your colleagues taking action, and if successful, might have a domino effect around the network. If so, that must also be in management's thinking.

KL/AF have their own problems such as filling their huge long haul fleet and competing with Lufthansa and BA, and they went through a series of very expensive strikes themselves not too long ago.
I guess, every little bit helps, but I seriously doubt that champagne corks are flying around in boardrooms in Amsterdam or Paris just because a few tiny orange A319s are not flying for 1 day out of 365.
