Upgrades?

Does anyone know, if you join as an FO how long it would take to move to the left seat? Is it seniority based? .

The reason why almost all FO's are dutch newbies is this: the flight schools in NL have dumped far too many new kids on the local market. KLM/Transavia NL havent hired anyone the last few years. Thats why they are happy to get a job in MUC, with a familiar airline and a real contract.

Even when you will be hired by Transavia GmbH you will be placed at Transavia NL seniority list as per contract. So answering to you question about upgrade, maybe 10 years? :-)

The article in the Financial Times today about the new Air France low cost long haul airline included what might be interpreted as less positive news about Transavia outside France and the Netherlands.

HV MUC is not the cost efficient success that it is supposed to be.... Base could well be closed again any time soon.

U bevriest de uitbreiding van Transavia. Waarom?

Google translate:
You freeze the expansion of Transavia. Why?
"For now we focus on the Dutch and French domestic markets Transavia. It is not our priority to grow Transavia in the rest of Europe. Our resources are limited, we have to prioritize. "
Close the new Transavia base in Munich?
"We have to investigate. There are some difficulties with respect to the cost and the sales. We must decide by the end of the year what to do. "

Working atmosphere

Hi all,

Besides all previous posts, how do you like working at the Munich base!? How are the chances to get part time?
Still an interesting option I think, possibly a good work life balance!?
