How does Wizz's basing system work?
Once you get a base is it possible to move to another one? Considering there are places in small cities it would be nice to know if transitioning is easy or you are stuck in base for years.

You sign up for a base and wait - since a few months the system is based not only on time of waiting, but also (IIRC) seniority in the company, closeness to home (variable whether single, married, with kids).

well, I did the video interview last wekend. the question were:
- tell us about your flying experience, how many TT do you have, which ratings
- what are your hobbies
- explain advantages and disadvantages of a low cost airline model
- explain differences between DA/DH/MDA
- read and explain given METAR (pay attention to RWY states on this one)
- what is RVSM

Whats the hiring looking like for DEC or experienced FO/SFO in any base? Actively seeking or full up at present?
Got a mate (non ppruner) with almost 6000 hours, roughly 2100 jet on CRJ 700/900 all SIC, 500 SIC on turboprop King air and about 1800 PIC on turboprop King Airs and 1400 SEP/MEP all PIC
He asked me to ask what he should apply for (DEC/SFO) and what his chances are in the present Wizzair hiring climate as well as the bonding system as he wont pay
for a TR.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Hi guys. Type rated 570 hrs on A320. I have interview and sim check on January in Budapest. Is anybody who had it recently to share his experience? HR questions, tech questions, multiple choice questions, sim test...? Thanks in advance!

PS PJN website is a bit wage on low experienced FO's in UK. Giving salary in Euro. Not sure if it is the correct data.

Warsaw base full with plenty of people waiting for it (cpt and FO), the other bases also full however they always aim to put people closest to their home..in worst case they will offer you Kutaisi or Chisinau..

Hi to everyone...WizzAir propose me to be based in CLUJ. Someone can briefly tell me what can I expect from this base? Monthly flight hours? Lifestyle? Salary ( SFO ) etc..

but quite a few clubs and nice ones, its Romania so party is high Salary as SFO well...no idea but expect around 3500 net.
