My DTC has turned into a PFO.

I am equally unhappy, because what (on the surface of it) appeared to be EZY finally starting to recruit experienced people *as well* as giving the 20-something 200h folks their first break is just paying lip-service to the mutterings in the industry about the need to put people with "real" flying experience into the RHS. 100 from CTC?

Makes me think that there really is no hope for us experienced people to get "proper" jobs.

30-60 pilots Mil non TR, 30-60 Civilian non TR, the rest A320 series TR is the rough split we're looking for I believe. Just so you have an idea of the rough numbers required from each group. This direct from someone in recruitment a few days ago. We've had many outstanding candidates so far, so the competition for the slots has been tough by the sound of it. Good luck to those still in the system.

Guys, read my above post. After all the emails congratulating me and telling me to expect further news, I received a PFO and then 2 weeks later another email telling me I didn't even complete the online assessments correctly.

This all stinks to the highest heavens. In case EZ HR has forgotten, our CVs and experience levels were a pre-req to getting an invitation to perform the on-line assessments. How can you then claim our candidacy was not a good match DESPITE passing the online assessments??? And in my case, to be told I didn't even finish the tests after telling me I did TWICE.

I wouldn't be so miffed if my time was wasted jumping through hoops that actually existed...

What I can tell u is that "experienced" when I was for the assestment centre meant that all the people I spoke with, had more tham 6000 hrs in line ops, with some thousands of hrs on the bus minimum, all very experienced, also some cpt willing to come back to eu on the right seat.

They only know the real numbers, and the can do what they want, probably when they reach the target they dismiss all athers in the same category. It's a pitty I know but the first thing they told us, was that the number of application was MASSIVE, and with this number i can immagine that they have the option to choose.

I have booked an interview for August. I guess that some have been to Luton already and so was wondering where people have been staying the night before and whether sim checks are being held the following day or should I fly straight home?

Of course any clues as to what happens on the day would be very welcome

Hi guys,

I´ve been just invited to the assestment in Luton but there are no dates availables at the moment, they told me to check the page regularly...

Civ, non TR, 4000 TT, flying medium turboprop.

Has that happened to anyone else?

Are the dates available after the 15´s of aug?

Any info will be appreciated.

Ciao and good luck!!

Checked the assessment dates two and a half hours after receiving the e-mail, but all dates were already gone. But they´re saying you should come back regularly and check if there will be new dates available. Wonder how often you have to check it to have a chance, like once every hour??

I got the email yesterday inviting me to book an interview about 1600. Checked the site at around 1800 when I read the email and there were no dates available.
Checked back this morning at 0900 and managed to book the 4th of September. Not sure how often they put dates up but I guess best thing is to just keep checking.

For those who performed the sim assessment: where does that take place and what type of Acft: 737 or 320?
