Yes, ValePilot, calm yourself.
The HR dept have been in overdrive in the last few months with DE Capts and FOs and now with cadets and reviewing numbers/course start dates/SIM availability etc etc.
The whole application and interview and even starting the line takes some time so please give them some credit and be patient.
@captplaystation - just to clarify this is what the rate is for Type Rated applicants

I've got 2000h on the B737 currently flying in Europe and I haven't heard anything from them yet so I guess that they have DEFOs to pick and choose between. Or that my CV is particularly crappy ;-)

Maybe they identified you from pprune & didn't like you.
You think I joke, but, the walls have ears, and East Germany/ North Korea have some stuff to learn from airlines . . . EdnaClouds, my point exactly, the acceptance of non TR is about one factor, and one factor only . . paying less salary.
Anyone want to take a wager on how long before every 737 (with the possible exception of 36 on the NAN AOC - including 10 "to be retired" Classics ) are EI- registered, 2 years ? 18mths ? look out CPH/ARN (HEL & Spain don't worry, you are already "decided" & you will love to work for the Irish . . to be sure to be sure - who mentioned the 2 Condoms joke ? )

I beg to report the user's words in other section of the forum
Wow!
They did the interviews already. Over 5000 applications and they called 60 guys for 36 positions.
I have two friends who got the job offer yesterday, so fellas, this process is already done.

I refer you to post #625 17th Sept, faster "progress" than even I anticipated
"Most changes are for the EURO bases and it was probably not a big surprise that Norwegian has started transferring bases and aircraft to Norwegian Air
International and the Irish AOC. When the next base transfers are going to happen is not yet decided, but we expect that the Spanish bases are transferred before the summer program begins. When Helsinki is transferred is still an open question."

Feedback from two of my colleagues that recently attended interview was that the " results" of the on-line tests were given at the interview. Our other colleague that went 787 is being asked to change to LGW base..ok apart from UK tax rates.
The two Captains decided not to go in the end, reasons: Staff travel only on NAS no medical and LOL, pension etc. Also the temp contract did not allow them to get mortgages. greener grass etc etc, personal choices.

Third test: it's verbal reasonning, you have different section of texts wich are again divide in other sections. You have 49 questions and you have to say that the sentence is right or fault or an other thing....

It has to do with fleet expansion, it's merely a numbers crushing exercise.
In practice the fleet will not expand until sometimes next winter 2015 because of the 737 classic phase out and no new deliveries until next winter.
Therefore there is no need for massive recruitment at the moment, only pool building for he future.
These are the details of what I was told.

They are just creating a pool for the future.
So whilst it might be an interesting exercise to determine the state of the market in respect of available pilots today, it will be of little use in Summer 2015.
Seems a strange thing to go through this process a year ahead of time?
there will not be any hiring until sometimes next year, probably from summer 2015 onwards
Perhaps the deal is not so good (as has been reported elsewhere)?
