Just running through a few things in my mind regarding this company. I'm wondering what happens after the 2 year temporary contract. From what I can see you will be permanently employed in a company, what form that takes I think has still to be decided.
I noticed some rumours on here about them setting up different companies in the various countries that they have a base. Would this mean that transferring from one base to another would then become far more problematic?

Cont
A good question, but it shouldn't be any more difficult than changing agency and that is straightforward, Norwegian's product is seasonal, more so in terms of location than the volume of product, due to the Scandinavian's decamping en masse to the Canary isle come winter, so there is always some movement of people to bases other than their own with season change, this tends to be new hire, but not exclusively so.

All courses up until May are filled as far as I'm aware.
From what I've heard the next recruiting drive is around Autumn time.

Are there any news regarding what actually has happened to the contract-pilots who has finished their two years and now supposedly should be employed directly?

We should know within the next few weeks as the HEL base becomes 3 years old. The company had the option to extend the time period up to 3 years (which they did) the time is now up.

I wonder what they're going to come up with, and if this leads to a subsequent change in T&Cs besides the contract expiration issue.
Any rumours about new bases?

I was told there would be interviews next month by friends already in but there hasn't been a word amongst my colleagues who have applied. Going on what I have seen in the last six to eight months they don't give a lot of notice, it's usually about a week to ten days notice for an interview. The recruitment process is very no nonsense with short lead in times and generally a job offer within a day or two of the interview. So when it happens, it happens fast.

I had fully expected the eventual Spanish "permanent Contract" to be wholly insulting, but neither I, nor anyone else was expecting this desultory offer made to the HEL based crew.
Welcome to Ryanair Finland, sorry NAS Finland, no sorry, right 1st time Ryanair Finland
This info was sent out from NASPA:
"Dear Colleagues,
As predicted, individual contracts are being sent out. Please find

It is VITAL that we all speak with ONE VOICE. ALL questions and
queries should be sent to NASPA, that will in coordination with lawyers
send the questions to Norwegian.
Best Regards
NASPA Board"
They also mentioned that they're planning to reduce the agency salaries.

This is extracts from the permanent contract that on behalf of Norwegians management today, 5th of May, we been approached with. As it seems, the company thinks this is fair and competetive.
We disagree!
Looks like a
contract with the aim that people should be fooled into believing that permanent contracts are not good, very much like fr/brk?
Read the whole thing and made a plus/minus list. Not much on the plus side
+
They pay for uniform cleaning
Regulated not to work on both christmas and new years.

Pay for passports. Think its paid by agency now?
9 days of (25% reduction from todays 12)
1 h report time for stby
Day off payment 8% of base salary. Is this 8% of the WHOLE monts salary? If so acctually a slight increase for fo but a decrease for cpt. Currently 350/750e.
No pension apart from finnish social system. From what I understand you already have that?
Salaries, allowance not taken into account. How much is this?
Fo 2000+
3500
700
160
960 (flight pay for 80hrs)
5320 tot
New cpt
7480
Cpt 2000+
8200
Current pay based on 80 hrs
Fo 5740 plus extra pay according to finnish law
Cpt 10240
So to summarize
-25% less off days
-7% salary drop for fo

Lets see what happens with the Norwegian/Danish Cabin Crew "mediation" tomorrow.
Given that they have seen their Swedish colleagues screwed over I doubt they will wish to acquiesce.
A happy coincidence that their Union is affiliated to PARAT, as is NPU, the Core Pilots Union in Norway.
Interesting times ahead indeed.
