From memory 3rd CTC, 3rd rated and 3rd military/TP
10 a month from Sept, and length of training varies but Monarch have in the past not had a problem giving type rated guys a full course and many training sectors if needed.
Having said that I would think type rated guys will get a tech refresher and about 2 weeks of ground training Sep, CRM etc before approximate 10 line training sectors.

Cheers Mesh,
I guess alot of it depends on the requirement for crew going into the winter season. The guys already qualified with a Bus rating can get into the line fairly quickly so I would imagine a start date after Christmas for TRd chaps would make sense. Whereas the remainder starting a few months before should have them line training at approx the same time for the run up to Summer 13.

Keep the faith guys, it may be a couple of months but we currently believe we need to recruit more than the initial 100. We will be looking at ongoing courses all year. We have employed permanent ground tech instructors to prove this. Good luck
Turnover of Pilots in Monarch is very low.

The guttering thing is I thought they weren't offering Luton as a base... and then I found out it was possible... man do I feel like I've missed the boat...
Looks like it's onwards and upwards with FlexiScrew for the foreseeable future!
Good luck and a big congrats to those (especially turboprop guys - you've waited long enough!!) who have been offered jobs!

I don't think anyone will be forgotten about, I was impressed with the levels of communication by today's usual employer standards! Things will be winding down for Christmas and I understand courses were filled until April 2013. Expect something late Winter/Early Spring!

I would agree with JB at the moment. We currently have all we need booked onto courses unto April. At the moment that's that, we are now bidding for various base issues which will take us upto christmas. Usual settle in Jan, then I think we will start to tweak the FTE which has been muted to increase. We are still negotiating aircraft, I believe more base news etc so hang in there. As those who are coming to us know we don't spend months interviewing. More a case of turn up Monday, hour interview, job offer within two weeks and start date, sorted.

@mesh, just read on the monarch thread about the 8 A320/321 arriving for summer 2013. Has the recruitment so far already accounted for this with the courses filled to April or would further numbers be required?
