If you don't believe how fast the cancer of diluted T's & C's can spread upwards and outwards from the expanding so called low cost sector, just consider how fast the passengers' T's & C's deteriorated. In only 10 years, since the first 'trial' it is now the norm to pay for baggage, checkin, credit cards etc. etc. That philosophy spread like wild fire and now the pax expect it. They may not like it, but they are not shocked by it. The same has been said for us in paying for type ratings. It is amazing how quickly one becomes accustomed to lower standards; mainly because they become universal. It's only when you venture off the ranch and find some old world values have been retained that you realise what utter c@£p you've been putting up with and how stupid you were for doing so. Pax as well.

Freedom, duty and hope

All great things are simple, and many can be expressed in single words: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope.
Sir Winston Churchill

*

Never, never, never believe any war will be smooth and easy, or that anyone who embarks on the strange voyage can measure the tides and hurricanes he will encounter. The statesman who yields to war fever must realize that once the signal is given, he is no longer the master of policy but the slave of unforeseeable and uncontrollable events.
Sir Winston Churchill

No matter what happens from the ECA meeting we have moved to great strengths as a group of pilots from all nationallities and from all over Europe.
The divide and conquer method that Ryanair use has now a big chinck in its armour and that is our unity. Its up to us wether we disarm them.

UNITY IS STRENGTH!
