Working roster LHI

Hi Greenpilots,

Could you give me an example of their working roster for a First Officer?
As I am invited to go to the DLR test I first want to be sure their rostering works out fine with me.
Will it be possible to commute home and back within their roster schedule?
It's the most important question for me and my family before I throw myself fully in the DLR preparation...

Many thanks for the feedback,
Best regards.

Im really sorry to say this, but you have a very long road ahead of you. 3 very difficult stages to pass before you can even think about rosters!

Why dont you complete the DLR first and then worry about anything else. Theres avery slim chance you'll make it through judging by other peoples experiences..

That is exactly his point, why would he put a lot of time and effort into attempting to complete the three stages if he then in the end figures out he cannot accept the job anyway?

Makes perfect sense to me that he asks beforehand!

I just learned that they don't accept any new applications, is it still possibly to apply? The first new FOs are being trained and seem to be very highly skilled. Maybe you can get one of the to answer all your questions.

Indeed you cannot apply anymore.
I have friends who were supposed to begin with their training. I guess they have not much of an experience, which does not mean they are not skilled.
No feed-back for the moment.

For those who have attended the dlr on feb 4th, anybody has been given a date for the NeXT step? Question also applies for the previous ones!
When can we expect it?

Thx, all the best!

Hi, just checking the first page of the application, I can read this:

"The pilot demand for 2011 is already covered due to the high number of applicants in the last months. You are still able to enter your application data as a Copilot on A319 and save it. We will inform you promptly, as soon as the selection process restarts."

TVT -Physics?

Theone83, NAVEX or anyone else who has complete the DLR testing,

I have been sent the training software to prepare for my assessment in March. Can any of you please advise is TVT - Physics is tested on the assessment day? I have it in my training software, but there is no mention of it from you guys on here who have completed.

Thanks,

Burger81

EDIT: I have found quite a few saying there is no TVT or RAG, I hope this is the case!

I went to the DLR test for LH Italia a few days ago.

Still waiting the results (was difficult, as expected).

I CONFIRM: No physics or mathematics tests... all others on the CBT provided by DLR are applicable

Good luck, and don't forget to practice A LOT!

Paparoach,

Thanks for the info. Good luck with your results.
Can you confirm the ATPL questions earlier in the thread are still applicable?

Thanks,

Burger81

Anybody knows how things are there at the moment?

How many simulator gradings are done per month if any at all?

Are they still failing people in the sim because of the politics?

Cheers
