Helicopter pilot, 200 hours per year (if I'm busy). £6500 per month (net) + house + pension, +,+,+,+.

FO since 7.5 years (still not in command ) for european flag carrier
- 5000 Euro / month
- 300-500 Euro / month allowance
- 35 days leave
- avg. 13 days off a month
- free tickets also longhaul within the company
- very good pension system (for the moment)

Air India captain 5 to 8 years LHS. Net usd$ 12500 / 80 hrs . $6800 paid in indian rupees protected at 45.5 / $. Balance 5700 in usd cash. (current exchange rate $1=39.5 rupees). Gross aprox usd$ 17700/pm. 10 to 12 days off per month. full medical coverage. "Unlimited confirmed" seats on indian airlines network for family (kids upto 21) including parents FOR LIFE at usd $ 3 per sector. These are economy upgradeble to business at boarding point. No captain ever leaves the company. The handful who did have all come back.

2 1/2 year FO Dash8 C/D: average around 2700 €/month - 14 times/year.
States + Company Pension,
35 days leave/year,
about 600-650 hours/year (but want to fly more! )

Heathrow Tower ATCO 7 years experience.
Instructor/Supervisor/Assessor
Net £3650 per month without overtime or training bonus.
Average about £4300 per month net with the above accounted for!

Final salary pension/no night stops!!/about 175 days a year off/Bupa cover from January

Major US carrier, 23 year 320 Capt.

Used to be: $211/hr over 80 hrs $316/hr

Now: $137/hr over 80 hrs $205/hr

33 days vacation, $1.80/hr per diem

$100/mth cost for medical/dental. Frozen pension: $8080/mth age 60.

Average 80-86 hrs/mth Net @ 85/hrs approx $8000/mth

I absolutely agree! I cannot believe this thread is in the public domain and that people are so willing to divulge such personal and socially private information. I wonder what drives them to post their salary? Does it make them feel more secure?
