Hey.
I'm going too. From what I have seen on this forum and as we have been informed it is a non aviation related aptitude test. Don't know much more but I'll PM you if I find out more!
Good luck

Been invited too. From what I understand from http//:www.ppjn.com it must be some sort of psychotechnic/psychometric/psychological testing

3 hours! That's a lot of questions... Let's try to find some more info!

Cheers

Test is not complex at all. Went last year to the one in Dublin. Nobody in our group was ever contacted by CityJet again. Emailed to ask for results but was informed that person is on leave. Wow, a year on leave!

Hey Policepilot

Please tell a little more about the test you went to. Any info is very welcome for all of us. Better to be one step ahead than one behind

I guess its about the test you want info on and not that they don't get back to you when they say they will.
There are numerous websites (can't remember off hand which one) 3cube.com or something like that helped. You get series of shapes and have to work out the shape in the empty square. Really nothing complex. Enjoy the day out. A google search on 'aptitude testing' should help.

I have been to the Test a couple of days ago and have to say it is quite like stated in several threads in pprune (look also wannbees!). About 25 people attended.
1. Math test including a lot of divisions and multiplications where you have to chose not the result, but a missing number. A bit time consuming if you come across these unexpected. Also basic algebra and some simple sequences.
2. Logic test, find the 5th symbol of the sequence. Quite easy to do, but the time is very limited!
3. Mechanical reasoning, I felt was the easiest of the tests with very basic questions concerning turning directions of wheels, pendulum, electrics a.s.o.
4. Spatial abilities, in my opinion the hardest one. You have to find the correct shape from a foldout pattern. Because of the time limit one must chose as soon as finding a match, it is almost impossible to check all 4 choices against the foldout.
5. Psychological questionaire, this is the only test which is not timed with 185 questions. You have to chose on the typical questions between a(true);? (dont know); c (not true). The last 15 questions are verbal reasoning questions.
Professional atmosphere and nice people, good luck!
