Whats one of these then????

Just wondering if anyone can explain to me what a 'Wing Tip Brake' is. Believe they are on A320's.

It stops flap/slat assymetry, by braking the the transmission line to the relevant surface, if a fault is detected by the Slat Flap Control Computer.

You can also trigger it by playing with the clocks on Airbus family.Then has to be re-set by GE's
