FMC Programming

Looking for a web site that can teach/help me with FMC programming. Hoping to move to button pushing technology soon!

Thanks as always

Don't know if this will help but try

www.aerowinx.com

It is their 747-400 precision simulator site. It has an FMC like the real thing.

Good manual is the FMC user guide, available from those pilot supply shops. I found it quite useful. It covers 75/76 and 777.

Thanks both of you. Are most FMC systems similar programing wise, or are they type specific. ie is it only worth reading up on the type I'll be put on when I find out what it is or are they all very similar to each other?

I discovered this item in my local Compustore about the time I was shifting to the 'Bus. It was really excellent. I don't use it with Flight Sim 98 or whatever (not that sad) but the airbus MCDU is very well reproduced and most (not all) functions will work well enough to at least let you practice loading the FMC when you're still trying to remember the routine.

'fraid I'm sadder than Capt Sensible as I have run EFIS 98 with MS Flight Sim 98. It works reasonably well. I can't vouch for it's authenticity as I don't operate an airbus but it is a good introduction.
