Speed of Sound
Some time ago, someone posted a formula for figuring the local speed of sound, I believe in knots that was simple and useful.
I can't remember what it was!! Something like 39 x square root of the temperature in Kelvin? Could a helpful soul re-post that formula with the particulars? :confused: |
a = 38.967854*sqrt(T+273.15)
where T is the OAT in celsius. c.u. |
