R.P.R?

Reading up on the rudder mod's for the B737 I've come across ref' to R.P.R.What does this stand for and in what way does it affect the mod's?

R.P.R is the rudder pressure reducer valve that is designed to stop us experiencing these rudder hardover problems.

As for what it really is I have no idea - all I know is that our minimum manouevering speeds reduced by 10 knots as a result of it being fitted.

Only time will tell if this is the right answer to the right problem.
