Just remebering another JAR Question, but can't find any refference for it anywhere! what is a COLD POOL, its to do with cold air and large pressure systems, the answeres basically looked like textbook quotes, but I can't find textbooks with quotes on it! http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/frown.gif

what textbook to the JAA recomend so were all singing from the same sheet... they don't, w*nkers.

Cells of cold air aloft.
cold air breaks out of long waves encirling the earth which separates the cold polar air from the warm tropical air.
these cold pools can reamin for several days causing an area of instability at height.
