Maximum FLEX on A320?

Does anyone know the maximum assumed FLEX temperature for takeoff on the A320 with V2500 engines? Highest I have seen I think is 45 C.. .. .Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

My mate at toulouse reckons it's nearer 65c

Max flex is ISA+55, A-320 V-2500,(TmaxFlex: 15+55=70) I have seen flex 69 in normal ops. Cannot be more than a 25% reduction and not less than climb thrust.. . . . [ 29 March 2002, 07:05: Message edited by: Diesel8 ]

i think most people would agree for the V2527. .max flex is ISA+55 or 70 deg at sea level.. .. .but why is it you can only ever put in a max flex of 69. does anyone fly into amsterdam or any other negative altitude airport.. and can u flex to 70 there.. .. .O\z

From our performance manual :- For what it's worth,

A320 - V2500 T Max Flex = ISA +46 i.e 61c at msl
A321 - CFM T Max Flex = ISA +43

Best I've seen has been Flex 55

Thanks for these replies.

Just to turn the question round a bit (should start a new topic really but hey.. :D):

What is the minimum FLEX on the A320?

Relative to SAT I assume? Presumably there comes a stage where the FLEX temperature is so close to ambient it makes doing a FLEX takeoff a bit worthless.

For example, OAT is +35 C @ MSL on a nice hot day (somewhere other than the UK). Could you do a FLEX 40 takeoff on the A320 in those conditions, or is that really just not worth it?
