high speed aerodynamic books
anybody know a good high speed aerodynmic book that is easy to read, besides handling big jets.
cheers thanks for your help. |
well, in terms of aerodynamics, generally the thinner the better, although the speed is entirely dependant on how hard you throw them.
sorry, could`nt resist. |
"Aerodynamics for Naval Aviators". A bloody good book written for US Naval pilot recruits. The text is easy to understand, it's written for eighteen year olds. The maths is heavy at times but I've never needed to know the maths to understand the text. The maths is there to prove the theories. Good book.
"Mechanics of Flight" by A.C.Kermode. Another bloody good book. Maths is not as complicated and he or his predecessors ('cause he is dead now) have devoted the first part of the book reviewing basic formulae and principles of physics. Bloody good book. |
