A330 Autothrust
 

Noticed that the A330 FCOM states that there is a possibility that you will lose autothrust when the engine fire switch is pushed with RR and PW engines. Is it a temp condition where you can reengage, or do you lose it for the rest of the flight....thanks

Don't know of any reason why, auto thrust is still available with one engine (the fire p.b downpowers the FADEC so it won't be available to that engine) It will be engaged but not active if the throttles are above CL / MCT
