X-Band radar operating techniques
 

Anyone out there have any websites or good tips into the optimal utilization of X-Band radar. Flying in the tropics this time of year cold fronts meeting up with the warm caribbean air leads to trouble at night, more than once I have been lured into the heart of the storm by attenuating X-band radars. The good old C-band never failed me.
