777 FMS supplementary data document
Hi everyone. Long time listener first time caller. The system is prohibiting me from making any direct messages to users until three messages, so I thought I would just ask here in a message.
Does anybody have the 777 Honeywell FMS supplementary data document that they would feel comfortable with sending me? I've been getting pretty deep into the weeds lately, and the FMS users guide, and other pilot-faced documents have really not been cutting it. I'd love to get my hands on this and figure out how some of the more nuanced functions actually work. |
That document is usually not widely shared outside of operator or training environments, so it can be hard to locate publicly. You might have better luck focusing on Boeing FCOM/QRH references and airline training notes, which often cover similar logic in practice. Some simulators also replicate those deeper FMS functions fairly closely.

Yeah I know, the worst I could do was ask and be told no. With respect, the FCOMs are pretty underwhelming when you want to start getting past basic levels. I found one for the 737 online, and I think some of the logic is answered in there, but still isn't really cutting it.

There is quite a flock/gaggle of 777 pilots on PPRuNe and posting some examples here on the Tech Log might get some explanations? I certainly don’t know everything but would be happy to help with what I do understand... |
