A320 OEB 61

Just curious cause some captain in my company seems to take this oeb differently. Like some just do the emergency descend right away no question ask, while some crosscheck it first on the SD page before doing anything.

The explenation and procedure is also not helpung by being ambigious being contradicting

I believe it was in response to this event.

The OEB specifically says to do the procedure regardless of what the SD indicates. Ask those captains what they are checking for and how it changes their subsequent actions.

I think it's one of the simplest OEBs I've seen. Get the ECAM, do the ECAM. That's it.

is this the OEB with regards to "CAB PRESS EXCESS CAB ALT" even if the current CPC shows otherwise? If it is so, then follow the OEB and do Emergency Descent, except at or below F160 as per FCTM
