Engine fires in a PT6
 

For anyone who has had a proper fire/smoke/etc from a PT6- powered aircraft, what kind of indications did you get? Visible or engine gauges.

Hot start stories are welcome too, I know there's some good ones out there

I posed this question in one of the other aviation forums out there and got nothing but testament to the reliability of the PT6... not surprising, but anecdotally I have heard in the early years they were a little less bombproof. Hoping this crowd has some thought-provoking info
