MEL V’s DDG
We have a CAS message. The MEL (accepted by the authority) has an O (operator) task to allow dispatch. However the DDG has an M (maintenance) task.
So… which one do we follow? I’m particularly confused, because the MMEL is supposed to be part of the DDG, so the MEL should as restrictive, or more restrictive. |

Following the MEL for dispatching is usually the right choice, as it is the document that defines the minimum conditions necessary to allow the aircraft to operate.
