B744F lower deck loading - question
 

To anyone with first-hand familiarity with Bob 747 freighters: can the lower deck only be loaded with ULDs, or is bulk load acceptable? (subject to CG limitations, of course)
Some operators indicate "bulk load" space at the back, especially on 744, but I want to understand what are bulk load possibilities in the fwd and aft lower decks.

p.s. yes, I know, I could have probably dug through Boeings' documents, but I tend to trust first-hand experience more than book, if it makes sense...

Bulk hold, hold 5 takes loose load, mail sacks etc, all other holds is on pallet or in containers.
