PC Air flow A320
 

When connected to pre conditioned air at the gate, is the air flow directed into the cabin as if it were coming out the packs?

I have noted that unless the gasper vents are opened, cabin cooling is inadequate and wondered if PC Air is only directed to the gasper ducting.

(I don't even know if we call them gasper vents on the 320 - we did on the 727 - I am referring to the circular vents located above each passenger seat.)

I think you'll find that with all the gaspers closed, the cooling is nothing too terribly adequate even on the packs.
