A320 Thrust lever fault

Once you select flap 1 thrust comes back to idle on the engine with the faulty thrust lever resolver.
This engine then stays at idle even when slats are retracted on go around.
Some posts on pprune suggest you can recover the engine with alpha floor activation?
Alpha floor is still available single engine with a clean wing. Does this bring the idle engine back to life or just give you toga on the unaffected engine?

It does A.FLOOR, at least in the sim I was forced :) to try last time.

Does the engine then become useable with the autothrust engaged until you select flap 1 again or does it return to idle as soon as you are out of A.FLOOR?

Was under the impression that once clean you get the engine back; the behaviour is to allow the aircraft to successfully land without any other way of knowing what the LVR commanded thrust setting is.

Once the engine goes to idle when the slats come out then you don't get that engine back from idle if you retract the flaps.
So according to flight detent you get alpha floor. I suppose the last question is once you have got that engine back can you get it out of TOGA. I would guess not.

IIRC A.FLOOR was disengaged in a conventional way, then with slats out (or command of) came back to idle again. Probably depends on SIM standard and ours on the night was not the latest by far.

Cheers flight detent. If you have a really really bad day I suppose it might come in handy. Or just another fact to clog my brain with ha!

EDIT for clarity:
IIRC A.FLOOR was disengaged in a conventional way but TOGA remained , then with slats out (or command of) the affected ENG came back to idle again.
