Brain Controlled Flight
I'm not convinced that demo was accurate enough " to pass a flying licence test"!
will be interesting to check out the real thoughts and actions of a pilot while in a challenging sim test ride and how does the actual flying relate to the actual thinking of the pilot. Are decisions made up by competence and can the pilot make his/her own decisions based on accurate cognitive functioning in adverse situations or is it just flying by numbers? Is the pilot driven by confidence or anxiety in his/her decisions? which part of the brain is/is not working whilst confronted with multi tasking and in stress? This research could have a deep impact on medical examination, lets hope it will be used correctly.

"I would settle for a brain controlled EASA !"
That`s one of the best comments I have seen in a long time here on PPRUNE |
Question is who's brain will be chosen to control the flight.
And I've always thought my flights were brain controlled...
Yep, it must be hell avoiding a stalled condition whilst looking at the centre pages of miss July!
Imagine that, pilot thinks,
aircraft flies! |
But .. but .. what happens if you're blonde, and you don't have a functioning brain?? :E
