A330 L/D & SFC
 

Hello guys, I need an estimation about the L/D ratio and SFC of the A330 at its typical cruyse speed (M=0.82).

I need them because Im trying to estimate the Breguet Range paramater:

K=(Vcruise/SFC)*(L/D)

-i would really appreciate some help :O

The specific range of an A330 at M.82, 200 tons, cg=37%, FL350, ISA is 80 NM/1000 kg of fuel. You should be able to calculate the Breguet range parameter from that.

L/D? Probably >18:1. Maybe 18.5: or 19:1.

Then, assuming a SFC of 0.565 lb/(lbf·h) I guet A breguet range parameter of 28000-29000 Km (15100-15600 nm) which I think seems logic.

The Breguet Range paramater: K=(Vcruise/SFC)*(L/D)/g

may be written as: K = (V/F)*(W/g), where -
V/F = specific air range in NM/kg of fuel
W/g = mass of the airplane in kg

so for the example I gave:

K = 80*200 = 16.000 NM
