A320 brakes

Greetings to all

just a quick question, in A320s Normal and Alt Brakes systems are powered by Green and Yellow HYD system respectively. The Blue system has no connection to Brakes.

But in a case of both engines failure, how does the brakes work?

In case of dual engine failure or G+Y system low pressure breaking is 'Alternate breaking with out antiskid' in which the Accumulator supplies pressure. Up to 7 break applications are available and break press should be limited to max 1000 psi.

In case of DUAL ENG failure the braking system will operate due to the accumulator.

Not to mention from standard 7? (correct me if I;m wrong) - but basically newer aircraft you are limited automatically to 1000 PSI

If you are really interested, this was introduced by Airbus vide Modification Operational Impact (MOI)NO. 26925 Title:LANDING GEAR ALTERNATE BRAKING-INTRODUCE MODIFIED ALTERNATE BRAKING SYSTEM Issue date 25Apr2007. However it started coming as a standard fitment much later. This also changed NWS to yellow hydraulics from green.
