Aer Lingus A330 CPDLC?

Hi all

Just wondering if Aer Lingus has CPDLC installed on any of their A330's?

Thanks

They'll have to soon. Euro Link 2000 will become mandatory soon!

Most of the aircraft have had it fitted for a number of years but as it wasn't approved the screens were dimmed for the flight and the system remained unused save for the purposes of training. Approval was only sought and obtained recently.

I would assume that they have FANS A on board the A330's. This would give an exemption to the upcoming CPDLC mandate.

Thanks for the answers. Just out of interest what kind of Mach number would the 330's be doing these day's? I know it used to be 0.82 but everyone seems to be going slower now:(
