Question for 737-800 crews

If the autopilot is disconnected by the normal means (yoke switch?) do the auto-throttles disconnect too?

No.
1. Normally they are to be used together.
2. But you can use AutoPilot without AutoThrottle.
3. Or Autothrottle without AutoPilot
