WWI Pilots
What is the MTOW of a Westwind I?
|
Uhhh, I was expecting a comment about World War I pilots...
One of the Old Bold Pilots who meet weekly in Surf City was given initial flight training in a J-3 Cub by a veteran Italian WWI pilot. The guy wouldn't let him look at the airspeed indicator. GB |
Italian veteran of WW1?????
that would make him at least 110 years old,and still flying a cub. dont think so.. |
I think the operative phrase in GB post is "was given initial flight training".
I don't think he meant yesterday! |
Westwind 1124 and Westwind I max TO is 22850 lbs
Westwind II is 23,500 |
MTOW in the Westwind One I flew on freight ops was 10,660 kg = 23,452 lbs.
|
Checkboard, are you sure?
I thought the baggage fuel tank and weight increase was only for a Westwind II |
sorry jonty, you are right, lets read before comment......my mistake
|
Found the answer......With AFM supplement 4 it allows TOW to be increased from 22850 to 23500 on the Westwind 1.
Thanks everyone. |
