Calima
 

In the Canary Islands (Lanzarote for me) we have Calima´s.
How does this affect aircraft operations, does it make the flight smoother, harder (due to lack of vision) etc?
I would love to know.

My girlfriend landed in one, claims she didn´t feel the usual turns and until landing didn´t see anything until the Beatriz playa hotel. She said the landing was smooth also.

Do I compliment the pilot:ok: or tell my girlfriend to stop being silly?:}
