A320 engine fail ECAM procedure

Sometimes on FFS I see after Eng fail ECAM procedure Eng start valve fault procedure. How can anybody explain me the reason for it to appear and if it necessary to comply with (in particular to open crossbleed)?

Sounds like a sim fault, you get ones like it from time to time.

It is a well known sim fault not related to the actual aircraft. It happens on certain sim loads.

Me neither, I never have seen such case during my FFS.

It probably is a sim fault but until you've had an engine failure, we won't know.

However my take is that, although the engine master has been put off, the FADEC, for whatever reason, is still trying to relight the engine, it can't, and so asks for some 'puff' ie Crossbleed ON so that it can try a starter assisted relight.

Any good?
