High frequency protection after ANR retrofit

Recently I retrofitted my David Clark H10 13.4 with an ANR kit from Headsetsinc. The fitting procedure involves removing most of the foam insulation in order to install the ANR units. The units themselves work very well and remove most of the low frequency noise. I believe that ANR is effective up to 1000Hz. However I'm a little worried that with the removal of all the foam insulation, the passive noise reduction capabilities of the headset have been removed and I may be exposing myself to the higher frequency noise without knowing it. I fly a Beech 1900 -typically, how much noise above 1000hz will be present in a twin turbine? Is it worth wearing earplugs under the headset to block the high frequency noise?
