777 flaps

Flew on a -300 recently behind the wing. Was amazed to see the inboards deflecting to what appeared to be nearly vertical position. How many degrees are full flaps or is it just 1, 2, 3, etc like the Airbus?

Full flap is "Flap 30", but that number doesn't mean much more than the Airbus "1,2,3" setting.

When did you see this flap almost vertical? The "Inboards" are in fact Flapperons, and hang down almost vertical on the ground with Hydraulics unpressurised.

Actually the inboard flaps are indeed flaps, between the inboard flaps and the outboard flaps are the flaperons.
