747 Apu
Just wondering what APU the 747's use?
The Classics and the -400 I'm after - a guy on another forum reckons they're a type of Garrett TPE331 core but I thought they were a lot bigger than that. |
Classic - GTCP660-4 (Garrett/Honeywell).
B747-400 - Pratt & Whitney PW901A (twin 90KVA generators). A380 - PW980 (derivative of the PW901A) |
If the guy you are talking about was me in this post:
http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?p=4080274#post4080274 I mentioned the B757 not the 747. Honeywell bought Garrett and the model numbers are now a little bit different. You can see them here: http://www.honeywell.com/sites/portal?smap=aerospace&page=Power_Systems3&theme=T5&catID=CB6 099334-14AB-C264-AB94-8E47224CA642&id=H0835BFA3-4DC0-F133-8CF9-9F160BDCE9DC&sel=3 and here: http://www.honeywell.com/sites/portal?smap=aerospace&page=Power_Systems3&theme=T5&catID=CB6 099334-14AB-C264-AB94-8E47224CA642&id=H0835BFA3-4DC0-F133-8CF9-9F160BDCE9DC&sel=3 Tailwinds Edited to include this other list: http://www.forecastinternational.com...s/644_2005.pdf |
