ATPL sim exam

Hi guys, just wanted to ask if anybody knows what to expect during an ATPL sim ride on the A320...thank you very much for your help.

It will be an Opc/ATPL...do i have to expect just a normal check? thanx a lot

I do not think it is just a standard check

You must tell your trainnig Captain before the check as you will probably have to fly a raw data ILS. This is a skills test and therefore has additional requirements compared to a LPC

IF.... (& you have not confirmed) this is for the initial grant of an ATPL, then look at JAR-FCL 1.280. It states that a LST is required. (Usually as part of an LPC) Therefore a manually flown ILS without flight director would be part of the test.

Just done mine. Normal LPC PLUS manually flown raw data ILS, and manually flown EFATO to clean config. Must also include SID and STAR, but these probably covered in the course of your normal LPC. Requires forms SRG 1119 and SRG 1158 plus £216 for the little green plastic book. All in LASORs.... Good Luck, U E

Isn't a raw data ILS just a normal procedure during your OPC/LPC's?!?
The company I fly for always asks to perform single engine raw data ILS, mostly with a lot of crosswind...

Yeah, same for me ...anyway thanx to all of you guys for your replies!
