Question : A320 Type Of Fuel
 

Dear all....

a question came on my mind recently....

what if a diversion happened to an airport where the JET-A1 fuel is not available...

in the FCOM3 3.01.28 P1 at the bottom of the page many fuel types...does this mean that the A320 can use any fuel available from the listed types if JET-A1 is not available ?

My company does not use the Airbus FCOMs so I can't look up your page reference.

In the section SYSTEM LIMITATIONS / FUEL you should find a table 'approved fuel types' that list any fuels that may be used for engine and APU operation. There's a lot of them...

the engine that we have on our aircrafts is CFM 56-5B4

Ahm...Nice :confused:

the reason that i mentioned the engine type is that it might give u an idea about the fuel types that it can use.

I think that the CFM 56-5B4 is not a DAC Engine.
But the CFM 56-5B4/2 is.
So, with your Engine you can use all the listed fuel-types if your operator agrees.
