A340-600 FBW Differences
 

I heard that there are some differences between the FBW systems of the newer A340 models compared to the earlier ones.

Is this true and if so, could someone give a brief explanation (if that is possible) or point me in the right direction?

I have searched a number of websites (smartcockpit.com, wingfiles.com, airbusdriver.net and pprune) but with no success.
