Noise Abatement and Acceleration?

When are you permitted to disregard the Noise Abatement procedure?

My understanding (admittedly based on hearsay rather than known fact) is that if ATC alter your departure, ie early turn, maintain lower altitude, etc, that you are entitled to disregard the NA proc and accelerate at your discretion as you are no longer on the SID on which it's designed for.

Also, on a Go Around do you have to follow Noise Abatement proc or can you accelerate once you're above MFRA?? Previous company (B777) used a standard 1000ft A.A.L. for a Missed Approach acceleration (no limiting factors) but present company (A321) uses the full NA proc again. I'm wondering if this is just cos they don't want us messing around in the MCDU?

Hi
you can disregard noise abatement procedures either when your sid has been altered by ATC or of course in case of an in-flight emergency such as an engine failure..
as for noise abatement following a go-around..we climb with intermediate flap setting to the safe altitude,..then commence the flap retraction drill
