And why does it pitch up when selecting Flap 1 to Zero?

Because selecting flaps from 1-0 will reduce the lift from the wing which will require a slightly higher AOA (pitch attitude) to maintain the equivelent lift which will give the same flightpath

Sorry, but in Normal Law the stick still commands a loadfactor......

Yes my point exactly and by reducing the lift during flap retraction and in order to keep the load factor the same the pitch attitude increases slightly, because only by keeping the lift at a constant will keep the load factor at a constant.

If the pitch attitude remained the same during flap retraction the load factor would reduce as the rate of climb would temporarily reduce which would temporarily cause a reduction in load factor.

Pretty basic stuff really

Sorry titi is back with his 0.1g AP damping mode
For you guys with lot of self esteem, it's not because you do not know something that you should have this kind of behaviour, you should be a little bit more humble.
OK here we go!
When AP is on in CLB, DES or ALT mode it will fly the aircraft at 1 g like you would do it manually, now pitch authority will maintain 0.9g or 1.1g (+ or - 0.1g) depending if you have an up or down vertical gust. (I have experienced that in cruise with soft mode on and low altitude without this mode). In both cases you gain or loose several hundred feet.
Now ATHR is dedicated for 70% to maintain speed and 30% to maintain attidue.
I will get back to you when I'll find the appropriate reference.
Mea culpa for the FCOM FCTM I have refered to.
I thought you would find this kind of info here but obviously this not the case.
Sorry for hijacking the initial thread!
