Whoop, Whoop, pull up at EINN!
At first I thought it was an April Fool, but looked at the date.
For those that may use Shannon, you may want to look at the new Aerad plates M2M and M3M, dated 28 september '06. If you are approaching from the west you appear to be given the option of leaving the overhead of the SHA on an outbound of 073 descending to 3000' until 13 d, when you turn for the inbound, over terrain that is 2800'!!, guess I'll be asking for vectors, hope base checks don't include the full procedure!:( |
sailor..
the terrain there is 1726/1746 . hav'nt seen the plates you're looking at but AIP ireland shows terrain under 2000 feet out that side..with sector safe at 2800 feet...:ok: |
Thanks, the dean, I just skimmed through and on closer inspection, you're correct, but I'll still take vectors!
|
Sailor,
A case of engage brain before typing on keyboard? :) |
You're not wrong there, so I redeemed myself by finding out that the MAPt is wrongly marked and have managed to contact Aerad for the fault to be rectified!! :uhoh:
