This is a question for TRI/TRE's only.

If a low hour pilot completes a type rating on a large jet aircraft, up to the licence skill test. How long a time period would be sufficient before attempting the base training (without going in the simulator again)?

thank you for your quote (which I was aware of). What I was trying to find out was how long a time period would be you (as an TRI) think was sufficient between sim - base for a low houred pilot on a large jet. (unless you think six months of non-flying was good preparation!)

I believe the recommended maximum gap before another sim session should be scheduled, is one week. However, your training should be completed with minimum delay, for your own benefit. But then it's not an ideal world!
